Membership
GreenStar Homes is a program of the GreenHome Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Members fund the work that keeps the standard free to use, and pay reduced rates on every certification, plus training, consulting, and continuing education.
The math
Individual membership is $135 a year. Here is what the member rate saves against the non-member rate on a single certification.

Company tiers are set by gross annual revenue. Rates are published by the GreenHome Institute and may change; confirm the current amount when you join.
Membership funds the free standard and pays for itself on most projects. Join first, then register your project at the member rate.
